Rocket Video Cast: Stream Web Videos on Your TV
Rocket Video Cast is an iPhone app that allows you to stream any web video on your TV. It also doubles as a file manager that lets you store files on your iOS device, view them offline, or transfer them to your computer. You can even cast your stored videos to your big screen by copying them into the app using iTunes File Sharing.
With Rocket Video Cast, you can cast videos from all major streaming video sites and major file sharing sites. It also comes with a full-featured web browser, start screen with the most frequently visited history entries, and open saved tabs on startup. You can search in your browsing history, bookmarks, and tabs in real-time, and integrate search engines in the address bar.
Additionally, the app is passcode protected, has an FTP server to transfer files in and out of the app, a file manager to organize your files in folders, playlists, and background audio. You can also extract audio from mp4 files and cast your Rocket playlist for files in the app.
Please note that this app doesn't support flash video, iTunes purchased videos, Silverlight, and other DRM protected videos like Amazon Instant Videos, HBO now, Hulu, Netflix.
